On Sunday, host Nagarjuna announced the elimination of Vishnupriya, who received the least votes among the contestants. As a result, Nabeel, Nikhil, Prerna, Gautam, and Avinash have made it to the top five finalists of this season.
When Vishnupriya appeared on stage, she asked, "How did it feel to enter your father's house?" Nagarjuna responded, "When I was a child, my mother used to say that my father wasn't very happy about having a girl. Today, I am proud to introduce my father to everyone on such a large platform. My mother would be pleased, too." When asked who she thought was closest to winning the trophy, she expressed that Nikhil had the best chance, adding that she also hoped Prerna, a female contestant, would win. She predicted Nabeel would take third place, followed by Avinash and Gautam.
Bigg Boss Season 8 began on September 1 with 14 contestants, later welcoming 8 additional participants via wildcard entries. In the end, Nabeel, Nikhil, Prerna, Gautam, and Avinash emerged as finalists. This season's winner will not only receive the trophy but will also take home a Maruti Suzuki All New Dazzling Dzire car along with prize money.
